Umaa have been working closely with the client to develop proposals for this major regeneration project.

The masterplan proposes a mixed-used scheme comprising a collection of building blocks of varying heights from 4 – 21 stories, stepped and terraced to address the surrounding context. The uses envisaged include a hotel, serviced accommodation, residential apartments and houses, and commercial space. Whilst developing the proposals, Umaa had to take into consideration the numerous existing constraints that come with developing an inner city site.

The vision for the scheme is to create a thriving live/work development within a historically neglected part of the city and establish a sustainable future for the site.
