Tradecroft

After obtaining planning permission on the site, our client appointed Umaa from RIBA stages 4 onwards. The site is located on an established Industrial Estate by Weymouth and Portland Borough Council, and is situated just off the coast of West Bay in Portland.

The building has been designed to reflect the existing context and character of the area within the industrial estate, with ridge heights about 7 meters this reflects the neighbouring warehouses, along the land. The proposal consist of 10no. commercial units with mainly ground floor open plan arrangement with some offices and ancillary facilities on the mezzanine floor. The construction of this project is due to start on site on Summer 2023 – with an expected completion date of summer 2024.
